Lonko Digital is a growth intelligence platform in development for business owners and marketing leaders. Most marketing analytics tools give you another dashboard full of numbers you have to interpret yourself. Lonko Digital is being built to read your marketing data and tell you what’s happening, why it matters, and what to do next. Today, that means a private reference implementation built on Google Ads, where every recommendation still requires a human to review and approve it before anything changes.
The problem we kept running into
If you run a small or growing business, you probably already have more marketing analytics tools than you know what to do with. Google Ads has its own dashboard. Meta has its own dashboard. Your website analytics live somewhere else entirely. Your agency sends a report once a month that mostly summarizes activity: how many ads ran, how many emails went out, how many posts got published. None of that tells you whether any of it actually worked, or what to do about it this week.
We kept seeing the same pattern, project after project: more data, more dashboards, more reports, and somehow less clarity about what to do next. That gap is why we're building Lonko Digital.
What Lonko Digital is built to answer
Almost every marketing dashboard is good at showing you numbers. Almost none of them are built to answer the three questions a business owner actually has:
-
What is happening in my marketing right now?
-
Why does it matter to my business?
-
What should I do about it next?
That's the lens Lonko Digital is being built around. Not another chart. Not another login. A system that reads the data already sitting in your marketing accounts and explains it in plain language, the way a good marketing lead would walk you through it over coffee.
What exists today, and what's still being built
We'd rather tell you exactly where things stand than let a demo imply more than is true.
Today: a private reference implementation connected to Google Ads. It reads campaign performance and surfaces what changed and why it likely matters. Every recommendation it generates requires a human to review and approve before anything is actually changed in an account. Nothing acts on its own.
In development: a LinkedIn Ads connection, not yet validated end to end.
Next: GA4, so website behavior and ad performance can be read together instead of across two separate tools.
Planned: Meta, once Google Ads and GA4 are solid.
We're not going to tell you Lonko Digital already does all of this. It doesn't. We'd rather build the Google Ads piece well and be honest about the rest of the roadmap than launch something that promises more than it delivers, which is exactly the problem that got us started.
Why every action still needs a human
A marketing analytics tool that only reports numbers is safe but not especially useful. A tool that changes your ad accounts on its own is useful but genuinely risky if it gets something wrong. We're building Lonko Digital down the middle: it reads, analyzes, and recommends, but a person still has to approve anything before it touches a live account. That won't change until there's a long track record proving the recommendations are reliable enough to earn more autonomy, and even then, how much autonomy to hand over should be the business owner's choice, not ours.
Where this is going
We'll keep publishing honestly about what's built, what's still in progress, and what we got wrong along the way, starting with a build log at the end of each month. You can read more about Lonko Digital. If you want to see how we think about the problems Lonko Digital is meant to solve, our Insights library and our recent look at Meta's Product Browsing default change are both built around the same three questions: what's happening, why it matters, and what to do next.
